Opening Additional Office due to Rapid Business Growth

GKR is the largest scaffolding contractor in London and the South-East, working on epic projects such as Battersea Power Station and many of London’s skyscrapers and heritage buildings. Our reputation has been built on safety, innovation and our ability to work in complex environments.

Our role on site is to build access in even the highest risk environments, so that every other trade can work safely and productively.

We are an owner operated business with over 250 members of staff working across more than 40 construction projects in the region, turning over £28m per year. Our clients include some of the largest contractors in the UK such as Mace, ISG, Sir Robert McAlpine and Wates.

Due to an ever growing London based workforce GKR decided to set up a London office which would enable management staff to be nearer to construction sites, whilst keeping their main Medway base. The majority of workers spend a considerable amount of time out in the field and onsite so it’s essential that they have access to relevant files, systems and emails at all times. We implemented new, high speed internet connections and configured the London office to work seamlessly with the Head Office network, giving all employees the opportunity to work efficiently from either office and access their email and data remotely at any time.

The changes we implemented have streamlined processes, facilitated cross-team communication and allowed for instant access to key documents 24/7.
