Kent Autistic Trust have been providing support for individuals on the autism spectrum for over 20 years. The Trust’s support services are personalised and specific to each individual and they aim to ensure that each person gets the right balance of support that they need, to be as successful as possible in all areas of life.
The Trust is spread across multiple offices, which allows its staff the ability to provide support services across Kent. The support services vary from a couple of hours weekly support through to 24 hour support where required.
Following on from the IT support on-boarding of Kent Autistic Trust, our initial site assessment identified potential benefits for them by using Office 365 for cloud services.
With staff working on-site and from home, it was key to have an agile system that could be accessed anywhere. Working closely with our engineers we designed a bespoke SharePoint site to meet with their exact requirements.
By using Exchange and SharePoint Online, Kent Autistic Trust were able to access their e-mails and data anywhere both securely and reliably. Office 365’s extensive security features, and 99.9% availability SLA, met with the 24/7 nature of their work and ensured data security.
As a result of the project, Kent Autistic Trust achieved a cloud-based solution that helped to streamline processes and drive efficiency, whilst ensuring their sensitive data was securely stored and resilient.
