Since 1999, Parenta has grown from being a nursery website provider to becoming a specialist in all things related to childcare in the Early Years.

Parenta was hosting company emails using a monthly rolling IMAP solution that delivered slow performance and prevented synchronisation of emails across devices. The company needed to drastically improve email performance and reliability to ensure the continuity of internal and external email communication.

Project Description

To address the issues Impreza IT migrated emails from the existing IMAP solution to Exchange Online (part of Microsoft 365). The migration took place using specialist migration tools to ensure all mailbox data and contacts were migrated with absolutely minimal disruption to the business.

The result was an evergreen (always up-to-date) email solution that offered improved email security with features like inbuilt antispam. Furthermore, Microsoft 365 allowed for synchronised mailboxes across multiple devices, both personal and corporate.

The solution also guaranteed a financially assured uptime SLA of 99.9%. By migrating emails to Microsoft 365 it allowed Parenta to rapidly expand with a reliable and high-performing email solution, that natively integrated with Microsoft Office apps to better enable a cloud-first approach.
